What a howlin late summer HM had! We played Flat Rock’s Riverfest for the first time right on the Huron River, then the next day, we boarded the Diamond Jack river cruise boat for a fundraiser for the Grosse Ile Animal Shelter! It was a step back to the roaring 20’s with tommy guns and fedoras!
A great time was had by all as we cruised out of Wyandotte and up past the Ambassador Bridge. A rainy day turned into a beautiful night, and the big thing is that we helped raise alot of money for our four-legged friends! If you didn’t set sail with us this year, get ready for next year (and rumor has it…we’re gonna need a bigger boat!)
We’ve got a little bit of quiet time coming up to clean up the Howlin Mercy den, then we’ll be back at it for Halloween, Thanksgiving and some cool gigs in between!
Thank you everyone who came out and supported us this summer! We pretty much batted .1000 in the weather department as compared to past years, so we had that going for us!
See you out and about! On to fall!
