Celebrating 31 years in 2024, Howlin Mercy’s sound is guitar driven, spiced up with some slide trombone. Influences include Buddy Guy, ZZTop, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, amongst other living and past blues legends. In addition, the band plays the bluesy side from such greats as Janis Joplin, Cream, and The Who.
Howlin Mercy has opened for the likes of harmonica legend James Cotton, Chicago’s Eddie “The Chief” Clearwater and rockabilly king Robert Gordon.
